We know how much our communities value having access to digital ebooks, audiobooks, and more through Hoopla. That's why we want to share an important update with you.
After careful consideration, our library team has made the difficult decision to discontinue offering Hoopla services after January 1st, 2027.
This decision was not made lightly. It was a team effort informed by various data points and careful consideration of how we can make the most of our library funds while continuing to provide the best possible experience for our patrons. We understand that changes to services can be frustrating, especially when they affect resources you are familiar with.
To help ease the transition, Hoopla borrowing limits are changing gradually:
✅ ️Sept: 3 borrows per user account
✅️ Oct 1st: 2 borrows per user account
✅ Nov 1st: 1 borrow per user account
️✅️ Jan 1st: Hoopla services will be discontinued
We are incredibly grateful for your understanding and for the many ways you support and use your library. We know that every patron has different needs, and we remain committed to finding ways to provide meaningful access to books, audiobooks, movies and more.
