Pine River Library Building Foundation,Inc The Pine River Library Building Foundation is a non profit that supports the Pine River Library. All members on this board are volunteers.

In 1996, the Pine River Public Library formed the Pine River Library Building Foundation,
Inc., whose purpose is to raise funds for a new library building. In January 1999, the Pine River State Bank building was donated
to the Library Foundation. Renovations on this project were
completed in July 2002. An open house for the new library
was held on August 31, 2002. A new roof was added to the building in the spring of 2009. As the library changes with the times the Foundation continues
to support the library in other ways. They continue to hold fund
raising events and apply for grant monies. The Pine River Library Building Foundation, Inc.,
is a non-profit 501 (c) (3).

Free tours of the historic 1895 train depot (Fri), Farmer's Market (Fri), Free displays and demos in the pre-1840s fur trader encampment (Sat/Sun) at Forbes Park (just over the dam on Hwy 84) with free kids games and free Settlers Stew (Sat), free-will priced GIANT book sale at fairgrounds (Sat/Sun) hosted by Friends of the Pine River Library, Pie in the Park library fundraiser at Forbes Park (Sun), and American Legion Auxiliary breakfast (Sun).
