Today is day 40 of 100 of the 100 days to raise $100,000. We are still a little ahead of pace with just over $42,000. We thought it might be helpful to share one of the renderings so you can get an idea of some of the main changes. Please share this on Facebook but also with people in the community who do not have social media or people who are from here but have moved away and might not be following this page.

🚒 HELP US BUILD THE FUTURE OF PINE VILLAGE! 🚒

Proud of Our Past. Committed to Our Community. Building for the Future.

For generations, the Pine Village Community Fire Department (PVCFD) has been built on one simple tradition: neighbors helping neighbors.

Today, our department faces an important decision about the future of emergency services in our community.

We must either expand the existing Main Street fire station or explore building a new facility. Our current space limitations are no longer sustainable for the future of our department.

The Main Street station once housed seven pieces of fire apparatus. Today, it can accommodate only three. The Lafayette Street station also has door-size restrictions that prevent us from replacing the truck housed there with a larger, more modern vehicle.

We’ve worked hard to downsize our fleet, maximize the capabilities of our equipment, and be responsible with our financial resources. Unfortunately, valuable emergency equipment must still be stored outdoors, exposed to weather, freezing temperatures, and potential damage.

We’ve already invested in our current location. PVCFD purchased adjoining property using department funds, with ownership placed in the name of the Town of Pine Village, to make expansion possible. However, additional engineering, site development, and potential archaeological and environmental expenses may substantially increase construction costs.

Both existing stations are owned and maintained by the Town of Pine Village, with PVCFD serving as a tenant. We sincerely value our longstanding partnership with the Town and hope to continue building upon it.

We are absolutely willing to expand the existing Main Street station. But if doing so costs substantially more than constructing a new facility, we have a responsibility to explore every option, including the possibility of repurposing the existing station for another community benefit.

This isn’t about wanting something bigger or newer.

❤️ It’s about doing what’s right for our hometown, protecting our community’s investment, and making sure the next generation has a fire department ready to answer the call.

📍 HERE’S WHERE WE NEED YOUR HELP!

🏡 WE ARE LOOKING FOR APPROXIMATELY TWO ACRES OF LAND IN OR NEAR PINE VILLAGE!

Do you own property, know someone who does, or know of land that might be available for purchase?

PLEASE LET US KNOW! The property doesn’t have to be listed for sale. We’re simply exploring opportunities as we evaluate the most financially responsible path forward.

We’re also exploring grant opportunities that may help fund a significant portion of this project. No final decision has been made regarding expansion or new construction.

👨‍🚒 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Buildings and equipment are only part of a fire department. It’s the people who make it special. We’re always looking for new volunteers to help carry on our proud tradition of serving our neighbors.

📧 [email protected]

Whether you have a lead on property, are interested in volunteering, or simply want to support our department, we’d love to hear from you.

Small towns accomplish big things when neighbors come together.

Thank you for helping us build a stronger future for Pine Village and the surrounding communities!

🚒🔥 NATIONAL FIRE PREVENTION WEEK 2026! 🔥🚒

⚡ “Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower!”

Today, the Pine Village Community Fire Department proudly continued a tradition dating back to the early 1990s — bringing fire prevention and life safety education to the students of Pine Village Elementary School!

Students learned about:

🔥 Smoke detectors, home escape plans, and crawling low under smoke

🔋 Safe charging of iPads and electronic devices

🚗 Seatbelt safety and the dangers of texting while driving

❤️ Basic Stop the Bleed techniques and CPR, including hands-on practice performing chest compressions!

You’re never too young to learn skills that could someday save a life!

👏 A HUGE THANK YOU to Pine Village Elementary School and Ascension Williamsport (Warren County EMS) for helping make this annual tradition possible!

Over 30 years of educating our youth, and we’re looking forward to many more! 🚒

🚑❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU to the Warren County Community Foundation! ❤️🚑

Thanks to their generous support, the Pine Village Community Fire Department has been able to replace AEDs that were approaching 20 years old with new, updated equipment!

These new AEDs are compatible with the equipment carried by Warren County EMS, creating a true “plug-and-play” transition of care. When EMS arrives, AED pads already placed on the patient can remain in place and connect directly to their equipment.

That means fewer interruptions, less equipment swapping, and—most importantly—more continuous, high-quality CPR and a smoother transition of patient care.

Investments like this directly improve our ability to provide timely, effective emergency care to the communities we serve

🇺🇸 PATRIOT DAY SEPTEMBER 11 🇺🇸

Today marks 25 years since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

We remember the 2,977 people who were killed that day. We honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, dispatchers, healthcare professionals, military members, and ordinary citizens who answered the call to help others.

We also remember the more than 7,000 U.S. service members who died in post-9/11 military operations, along with the veterans, first responders, recovery workers, and families who continue to carry the physical and emotional effects of September 11 and the years that followed.

Twenty-five years later, the courage, sacrifice, service, and unity demonstrated in our nation’s darkest hours must never be forgotten.

Today, take a moment to remember those we lost, honor those who served, and look out for one another.

Never Forget.

✊🏼🇺🇸
