SCCD was featured in a video by the American Energy Policy Center. We were able to participate in a tour given by Pure West Energy, showing one of our Low-Tech Process-Based Restoration projects.

SCCD is grateful to have received The Deborah MacKenzie Award from The Nature Conservancy (TNC) Wyoming. While this award was based on SCCD’s low-tech process-based restoration project (LTPBR), it also highlights years of partnerships and projects SCCD and TNC have completed.
Before receiving the award SCCD was able to participate in a tour TNC gave to some of their board members and staff, including some from their TNC Argentinian office. During this tour SCCD was able to share examples of LTPBR rock structures and teach the participants how to build them. SCCD was also able to share about our wildlife friendly fence program.

SCCD is excited to announce that our newest Board Member has been sworn in. Please welcome Jean Stetson, our new Urban Board Member. Jean has a professional background in accounting and ranching, with a B.A. in History and a minor in Economics. She is a member of the Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation, Wyoming Stock Growers Association, and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, as well as a Board Member for the Pinedale Food Basket. We are happy to have her join the team!
