🚒 It’s moments like these that we love!

Recently, our crew had the opportunity to give a young man a tour of one of our fire engines while they were out in the community. These are the moments our firefighters truly enjoy taking a few minutes to connect with the people we are proud to serve.

Here you can see Firefighter Brubaker showing him around the engine and giving him an up-close look at some of the equipment we use every day.

If you ever see our crews around town, please come over and say hi! 👋 You’re also always welcome to stop by Pinetop Fire District Station 11 at 1845 S. Pine Lake Road in Pinetop for a station tour.

We’d love the opportunity to show you around, introduce you to our crews, and share a little bit about what we do.

🔥 Supporting Our Partners in California

Pinetop Fire District currently has two members of our Fuels Crew assigned to the Timber Fire near Monterey, California, in the Los Padres National Forest.

Austin Goins and Daniel Lopez had the opportunity to join the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management Phoenix Hand Crew as they deployed to assist with wildfire operations in California.

We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the DFFM crew, support communities beyond our district, and continue building strong relationships with our wildland fire partners throughout Arizona and across the region.

Stay safe, Austin and Daniel! We’re proud to have you representing Pinetop Fire District. 🌲🔥

🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET | 9/11/2001

I think we all remember exactly where we were when the events of September 11, 2001 unfolded. Twenty-five years later, the memories of that day remain with us and continue to shape who we are.

Today, Pinetop Fire District asks our community to take a moment with us to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, and everyday citizens who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of tragedy.

May we never forget the sacrifice, bravery, and unity that defined that day.

25 years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🔥 Structure Fire Response – S. Penrod Lane 🔥

This morning at approximately 6:20 a.m., Pinetop Fire District crews were dispatched to the 1900 block of S. Penrod Lane for a reported structure fire.

Upon arrival, crews found light smoke throughout the building and immediately began investigating. Firefighters quickly located the source in a restroom, where an electrical exhaust fan had been arcing. The electrical issue caused surrounding insulation to burn and resulted in significant charring in the attic area.

Crews were able to remove the faulty exhaust fan and burned insulation, preventing the incident from developing into a larger structure fire.

Responding units included Battalion 11, Engine 11, Rescue 12, Engine 13, Rescue 13, Truck 14, Engine 15, Battalion 15, Prevention 11, and Fire 10.

We would like to thank our partners at Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District, Pinetop-Lakeside Police Department, Navopache Electric Cooperative, and UniSource Energy Services for their assistance this morning.

Incidents like this require a coordinated response and a significant number of resources. We are grateful for the strong partnerships throughout our region and the continued teamwork that helps us protect our communities.
