While preparing for back to school, we recommend that parents/guardians download the app Here Comes the Bus a software tool that gives access to the real-time location of a student's bus on a map, as well as scheduled and actual arrival times at their assigned stop and school.

1. Download the Here Comes the Bus app from the App Store or Google Play for your smartphone or tablet.
2. Use the district code (73877) and your student's ID number (contact your child's school if you don't have it).

2023-2024 Back to School Enrollment Events

Good afternoon, Sterling Elementary School Families! Sterling will begin using ParentSquare this year as an additional way to communicate with families. You should have received an invitation via email to activate your account. Please check your junk or clutter mail also. Please activate your account as we will begin using Parent Square once school begins. Our school supply lists are posted on our school website.
Class placement letters and information for kindergarten families regarding staggered entry will be mailed on Wednesday, August 16th. Open House for all grade levels will be on Thursday, August 24th, from 11:00 - 1:00 PM. Families can walk around the school and meet their child’s teachers. The first day of school for students in grades 1-5 will be Monday, August 28th.
Kindergarten students come to school using staggered entry and will come on August 28th, 29th, or 30th. All kindergarten students will come on Friday, September 1st. The letter mailed to families will explain this process.
If you have not requested bus transportation for your child from your home, you will need to complete the intent-to-ride form at this link also. Please be aware that if this process has not already been completed, your child may not have a bus until the second week of school.

¡Buenas tardes, familias de la escuela primaria Sterling! Sterling comenzará a usar ParentSquare este año como una forma adicional de comunicarse con las familias.
