🌊 WE WANT YOUR INPUT, PINEVILLE! 🎣
The City of Pineville is excited to announce that we are applying for a grant through the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) to construct a brand-new public pier at Buhlow Lake!

Community involvement is a key part of this grant application, and we want to ensure this project reflects what you want to see. Whether you love fishing, bird watching, paddle sports, or just enjoying a view of the water, your feedback matters.

📲 Take the 2-minute survey here: https://buff.ly/r9CU7L5

Please note: All preliminary drawings and renderings associated with this project are strictly conceptual. The final scope, features, and overall construction of the pier will directly reflect the grant funds awarded.

Thank you for helping us enhance recreational opportunities at Buhlow Lake!

What an amazing way to wrap up our tour of local schools. Our mission is to reach and teach every pre-k thru 3rd graders in Pineville about fire safety. We had so much fun with these kids and teachers. Also a huge thank you to the J.I Barron PTO for taking such great care of us while on campus.

While burning is always prohibited inside the city limits of Pineville, the Rapides Parish Police Jury has issued a burn ban for all other areas in the parish. The ground is very dry and any type of outdoor burning can get out of control quickly!

What an amazing start to fire prevention month. Thank you for letting us be a part of your program!!

🚒🔥 A HUGE thank you to the Pineville Fire Department! 🔥🚒

We had such a fun and educational morning at Cenla Eclectic Homeschool Co-Op thanks to the amazing firefighters from the Pineville Fire Department!

They joined us for a special Fire Safety Day, giving our kids the opportunity to learn about fire safety, meet real firefighters, and get an up-close look at the equipment and tools they use to help keep our community safe. 🚒🧯

Experiences like this are exactly what we love about our co-op—giving our kids the chance to learn beyond the classroom, ask questions, explore, and connect with the people who serve our community.

We are incredibly grateful to the Pineville Fire Department for taking time out of their day to visit with our families, teach our kids, answer their questions, and make the experience so much fun!

❤️ And a very special thank you to our own Casey Murphy, who always shows up for us! We are so thankful for everything you do to help make special days like this happen for our co-op. We appreciate you more than you know!

🚒❤️ Thank you again to the Pineville Fire Department for serving our community and making Fire Safety Day so special for our kids!
