Share the Fair is the giving program built into the Scholastic Book Fair, empowered by contributions from people like you! These funds support students at our school who need help getting new books. Your contribution helps even more kids take home a book from the Fair—and experience the all-the-feels, read-past-lights-out rush that we call “Bookjoy.” If you would like to contribute visit https://shop.scholastic.com/stf/fund?orgUCN=600082095 Thank You

Good evening Panther Families,
I hope you all have enjoyed a wonderful fall weekend and are ready to rock the next two very busy weeks! Thank you to everyone who came for our first quarter awards on Friday morning; it was great to celebrate our students.
Here are a few reminders for upcoming events:

* SAVE Promise Student Leaders are continuing to collect easy-to-prepare food items for King Outreach.

*SAVE Unity Day is this Wednesday, October 21. Everyone please wear orange to say NO to bullying. Student Leaders will be passing out unity buttons at morning arrival.

*3rd, 4th and 5th grade students have their first Check In this week in reading, math, and science. This is a great opportunity to show what you know (and where we need to grow:)

*Pinnacle Elementary PTO Fall Festival is this Friday evening! Some of the evening highlights include dinner (chicken stew or pizza), popcorn and snowcones, games, silent auction, hayride, and Scholastic Book Fair. We will have two wristbands, each $5. Dinner wristbands are for a bowl of chicken and drink OR two slices of pizza and drink. $5 also gets you an all-you-can-play games wristband!

*The following week (October 26-30) will feature our Storybook Pumpkin Patch and Red Ribbon Week (see flyers).

*Truck or Treat will be 1:00 on Friday, October 30 followed by a Monster Mash in the gym.

Thanks so much for supporting our school community!
Ms. Linville
