💕🩷Today, the faculty and staff of Kermit Johnson Elementary School came together to PAINT THE HALLS PINK in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! But today was about so much more than wearing pink. It was about LOVE, SUPPORT, STRENGTH, and FAMILY!

💕🩷Our KJES family surrounded our very own Mrs. Denise Lyvers, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, with an EXTRA dose of love, hugs, prayers, and encouragement! Mrs. Lyvers, we want you to know that YOU ARE NOT FIGHTING ALONE! Your KJES family is standing beside you, cheering you on, praying for you, and loving on you every step of the way!

💕🩷Today was a beautiful reminder that KJES is more than a school. WE ARE FAMILY! We wear PINK for awareness, PINK for strength, PINK for hope, and most importantly, PINK FOR DENISE!

💕🩷WE LOVE YOU, MRS. LYVERS! KEEP FIGHTING! Jefferson County Schools
