THANK YOU to everyone that donated blood at Monday's Blood Drive! There were 67 donors and 52 units collected! That means potentially helping save up to 156 LOCAL patients! That is amazing! We don't like to brag, but the results were Sheriff/EMS-35 votes and Fire Department 32 votes. Better luck next year Pipestone Fire Department! 😆All in good fun, and together we all helped a lot of local folks!

Community Blood Bank was founded by Sanford & Avera in 1976 to be the sole blood provider to local area hospitals & they have been the sole blood provider to PCMC for over 25 years.

All who donate will receive an All-American Blood Donor t-shirt and a $20 Kwik-Trip gift card (⛽️👀) as thank you gifts (& of course my personal fave - snacks!)!

TODAY IS THE DAY!! It’s our annual Heroes Behind the Badges Blood Drive with Pipestone County Sheriff's Office and Pipestone Fire Department hosted by Community Blood Bank (SD, MN, and IA) and Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic Avera! You may donate until 12pm and from 1:30pm-5:00pm. They still have many walk-in appointments available!

Community Blood Bank was founded by Sanford & Avera in 1976 to be the sole blood provider to local area hospitals & they have been the sole blood provider to PCMC for over 25 years.
