We have a "food forest"! Every Pittsburg students had the chance to help dig, plant, mulch, and fence today. What started as an unused section of field will now grow apples, pears, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, bush cherries, and herbs! Thank you to ReTreeUS and the Tillotson Fund for supporting our project!

Our annual Fall Festival is coming up next week! Food will once again be available courtesy of Lakeview Cabins - Young's Trailside Scoops has joined forces with them this year - we are so thankful for their generosity to our school community! All food is available via donation and this year proceeds will be donated to our Key Club and National Honor Society organizations! If you want to decorate a trunk, there is still time to get on the list but if you decide last minute to show up the day of as long as we have room we would love to have you!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone (rain, snow or shine!) and hope that you're able to join us for a fun evening!

Our National Honor Society students will be collecting supplies for the Coos Sanctuary through November 16th! If you would like to send in donations with your students that would be great! If you don't have any students attending school but would still like to help out, we have a box in the office and would be happy to add that for you!
