The first 22 miles of the Run for Resilience were dedicated to Sgt. Brian J. Ross, a 19-year Veteran of the New Hampshire State Police.

Sgt. Ross began his career as a patrol Trooper in Troop A and went on to serve in several specialized roles throughout his career, including assignments with the Major Crime Unit, Special Events Response Team, and Motorcycle Unit. In recent years, he served as Commander of the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction (C.A.R.) Unit.

Sgt. Ross served the people of New Hampshire with courage, integrity, and dedication. Today, Jeff carried his memory through each of those first 22 miles.

The Run for Resilience is about more than the miles. It is about honoring those we have lost, supporting those who are struggling, and reminding our Veterans and First Responders that resources are available when they need them.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline at 988 for free, confidential support 24/7.

Camp Resilience also maintains a Resources Page with organizations and services available to Veterans, First Responders, Service Members, and their families: www.camp-resilience.org/resources
