A piece of local history has a new look thanks to a group of North Hills students! 🛠️ Students in James Meininger's Advanced Home Maintenance class rebuilt the historic Perrysville welcome sign, which was unveiled this afternoon.

Through a partnership between Ross Township and North Hills, students applied their skills to restore the sign, which will welcome visitors for years to come. A plaque on the back permanently honors each student involved. Thank you to these students for leaving their mark on the community! We are !

North Hills celebrates Class of 2026 at Senior Awards Night North Hills High School hosted its Senior Awards Night for the Class of 2026 on Monday, May 18.

Congratulations to our 2026 North Hills High School Distinguished Alumni Award recipients! 🏆👏

On Monday night, we proudly honored Courtney Brennan (Class of 2001) and Matt Dieterich (Class of 2009) for their outstanding accomplishments and impact in their fields. Courtney is a leader in influencer and affiliate marketing and currently oversees creator and affiliate strategy for Aerie. Matt is a scientist, entrepreneur and internationally recognized astrophotographer. The pair was celebrated during a special dinner with family, friends, school board members and district administrators before returning to inspire the next generation as keynote speakers at Senior Awards Night.

Thank you, Courtney and Matt, for representing North Hills with excellence and showing our students what’s possible! ❤️

North Hills High School earns 6 Gene Kelly Award nominations for 'Mamma Mia!' North Hills received six Gene Kelly Award nominations for its spring musical "Mamma Mia!" including Outstanding Musical and Outstanding Actress.

Our annual mock crash was held Friday ahead of prom. This powerful event is designed to remind students of the life-altering consequences of impaired and distracted driving, and how one poor decision can change lives forever. Thank you to our North Hills High School SADD Club and participating agencies including Ross Township Police, West View Borough Police, Ross West View EMSA and Laurel Gardens Volunteer Fire Company.

North Hills students made a big impact at the Allegheny County Envirothon on April 23 at North Park, with one team taking 1st place and advancing to states! 🏆 The Hellbenders earned top honors (plus $750 scholarships each 👏), while the Hillbillies finished an impressive 6th in their first year competing. Both teams showed incredible dedication all year long — congrats to all students for an outstanding performance!

🚨🚨🚨 North Hills High School is holding a mock crash this Friday, May 1 ahead of Saturday's prom! The crash will be played out in real time with first responders and paramedics arriving on the scene around 9:15 a.m. Please be advised that during this time there is no true emergency on the hilltop!

It was an exciting day for North Hills yesterday as we hosted a delegation of educational leaders from Germany who came to learn more about public education in the United States! The delegates toured North Hills High School, met with students and staff, and engaged in meaningful discussions about instructional practices, school systems and educational policy, experiencing firsthand the pride, tradition, and excellence that define North Hills.

Participants exchanged ideas, shared challenges and explored innovative approaches to education. Conversations also included the possibility of a future student exchange program. 🇺🇸🏫🇩🇪

The group is visiting both rural and urban elementary and secondary schools across Pennsylvania to gain broader insight into American public education. Thank you to our guests for visiting, our students who led the tour, and to our staff and the PA School Boards Association for making such a meaningful and memorable day possible!
