It was a great honor to be invited to participate in the Medical Humanities series at Reading Hospital - Tower Health to discuss the importance of physician advocacy. Thank you for the opportunity to discuss my story and how physicians need to lead to improve the health of our patients and communities.

Today is World Multiple Sclerosis Day. As a physician, I have seen how debilitating this condition can be. I am committed to making sure that those who suffer from MS have access to the healthcare they need to live fulfilling and productive lives.

Happy to attend a meeting with Secretary Arkoosh hosted by 412 Food Rescue along with Rep. Lindsay Powell and Rep. Emily Kinkead to discuss the Food as Medicine initiative the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and the Office of the Governor of Pennsylvania are championing in this year’s budget. As a physician-legislator I know that good health starts with good nutrition.
