Children living in poverty are affected emotionally, physically, socially, and mentally not to mention these children may be susceptible to a shorter lifetime. The affects of poverty are presented before a child is born. Most parents living in poverty do not receive satisfactory prenatal care which is needed for the child to develop appropriately.
