Tina Weiland was a wonderful soul. She put her heart and soul into everything she did and loved her family more than anything in this world. She will be missed but never forgotten. My name is Joanne and I am the coordinator for the Meals on Wheels in Shannon. We provide 2 meals a day, Monday to Friday to clients in Castle Shannon and the outlying areas. We ask for a donation of $7 a day as we receive NO government funding. If you know someone who is in need of our service feel free to pass this info along. The program relies on volunteers to keep the wheels moving. If you can spare an hour a week or more we can use your help. We have kitchen helpers that work 8:30 to 10:00 and our drivers are needed by 9:30 am to deliver the meals. We are always looking for Angels to help with our cause ! Stop by some morning for a coffee and a little palaver. There is usually cake as well !! God Bless and Keep on Truckin !
