Senator Cory Booker wrapped up a 25-hour and 5-minute marathon speech on the Senate floor — the longest in U.S. Senate history — standing firmly against attacks on Social Security, government transparency, and the values that define our democracy.

This wasn’t just a filibuster. It was a moral stand. A refusal to stay silent in the face of injustice and authoritarianism.

He invoked the spirit of John Lewis, John McCain, and every American who’s ever stood up to say: we deserve better.

Thank you, Senator Booker, for your courage, your endurance, and your voice. You reminded us what leadership looks like.
