Today, the City of Pittsburgh celebrated Immigrant Heritage Month by welcoming the Pittsburgh Xiabo Waist Drum Dance Group.
Founded in 2016, this community-based performance troupe presented a vibrant showcase of traditional Chinese culture, featuring waist drum dancing and a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at the City-County Building.
As a welcoming and inclusive city, Pittsburgh recognizes that immigrants strengthen our neighborhoods, economy, and civic life while enriching the diversity that makes our city vibrant and resilient.
