Last Saturday, Kara Roggenkamp and Heather Fuller presented at the PA/DE American Society of Landscape Architects Annual Conference alongside Brandon Riley from the Parks Conservancy. Together, we shared strategies for inclusive design and community engagement from our recent project at the . We also enjoyed keynote sessions on nature-based design from ASLA CEO Torey Carter-Conneen and meadow expert Larry Weaner, and enjoyed a field trip to the Delaware Botanical Garden. It's always inspiring and energizing to exchange ideas with our landscape architect peers!

It's great to see the recommendations we developed for Mt. Lebanon Community Park being implemented. We enjoyed attending today's press conference with Congressman Chris Deluzio, and State Representative-Elect Jen Mazzocco. Congressman Deluzio presented a large check to the Municipality to fund improvements to the Mt. Lebanon Recreation Center.

We love trees! This month several of our landscape architects are taking an intensive Sustainable Landcare certification course conducted by Phipps Conservatory. This past Saturday morning we visited the Phipps Garden Center for a session on organic tree care taught by Joe Stavish and Jake Milofsky of Tree Pittsburgh.
