Our Poetry Club meeting this month revolved around the theme 'all things Pittsburgh.' Led by John of Advanced Home Care, residents skillfully articulated their feelings in prose. The event featured an exhibit of Pittsburgh memorabilia to spark imagination, and we wrapped up the session with a treat of Isaly's ham BBQ sandwiches.

Such a gorgeous day for an outing. First stop was Baldinger’s candy store and the to Bennie’s 9 Diner for lunch. I have to say the customer service at both places was impeccable.

Shout out to Monte Cello’s for helping sponsor a pizza party leading up to Memorial Day. We love spoiling our residents, especially our veterans. Too many smiling face to post them all!

As we approach Memorial Day, Bridges Hospice hosts one of our nicest events of the year. Our Veterans were honored with a plaque and a pin. All our veterans that have past were honored with a roll call and a moment of silence. Such thought and compassion, made this a special tribute.
