Green Tree Public Library has adopted Oreo, a Holstein calf from a local dairy farm!

Each month, we'll be following along as Oreo grows and sharing new updates, photos, and fun facts about Oreo and life on a dairy farm. Stop by the library's children's area to check out our bulletin board and see what Oreo has been up to! We'll be updating it every month, so there's always something new to discover.

Want to follow Oreo from home, too? Visit https://www.discoverdairy.com/adopt-a-cow/updates/ and use Oreo's Cow Code: OREO to see more photos and information about our calf!

Come visit us and moove your way over to the children's area to meet Oreo!

Today’s surprise pizza party has an inspiring story behind it! Throughout the year, one of our library patrons, a medical student, would visit almost every day we were open and spend hours studying. He stopped in today to hand deliver pizza to staff and share his good news: he passed all of his medical exams and is moving on to the next step in his education and career! How wonderful to think a future doctor got his start at a little table tucked in the corner of our library.
