Families may experience crisis for a variety of reasons, including a parent or

Every donation makes a difference 💙 We are incredibly grateful for the in-kind donations we’ve received recently. Our Executive Director, Tammy Aupperle, spoke on a panel titled: The Modern Nonprofit Board: What It Takes to Lead Today—and Sustain Tomorrow. This panel discussion, hosted by Jeremiah’s Place Board Member, Carla Frost, focused on the evolving role of today's nonprofit boards.

The conversation was designed specifically for nonprofit board members and senior nonprofit leaders navigating the current challenges and opportunities in the nonprofit landscape.

The fifth cohort of our Early Learning Collaborative has been busy! They’ve been working on early matching with numbers and sorting and fine motor skill development through a variety of hands-on, engaging activities designed to support school readiness and build confidence. From counting and sorting exercises to creative art projects and sensory play, the children are strengthening important foundational skills while learning through play.

We are thrilled to announce the future home of Jeremiah’s Place! Last week, we hosted an event to kick off renovations at our building in Wilkinsburg, where Jeremiah's Place will relocate our operations. Our guests got an exclusive peek at all of the great features planned for our new facility, set to open in 2026. Intentionally designed for emergency childcare, our new space is nearly twice the size of our current center, creating more room for trauma-informed, sensory-friendly care, creative play, and joyful moments.

Thank you to everyone who attended our kick-off event and joined us in celebrating this exciting milestone. Stay tuned for more renovation updates! Learn more: https://jeremiahsplace.org/news/jeremiahs-place-begins-renovating-expanded-wilkinsburg-headquarters-to-serve-more-children-in-crisis/

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to remind every parent and caregiver that it’s okay to ask for help. Parenting can be overwhelming, especially during times of stress, crisis, or emotional exhaustion.

At Jeremiah’s Place, we are here to provide families with a safe, supportive place for children while parents take the time they need to focus on their mental health, attend appointments, rest, or simply take a breath.

No parent should have to face difficult moments alone. Seeking support is a sign of strength, and our doors are always open when families need us most. If you or someone you know could use support, learn more about our services at jeremiahsplace.org
