Tonight our firefighters took advantage of the beautiful weather and reviewed forcible entry techniques and hose pulls and packs.

Two of our members are on the PA Strike Team 1 Urban Search and Rescue team. Today they sent us some pictures from their monthly training. They’re tasked with searching and breaching areas or buildings that have been destroyed by natural disasters and building collapses.

We are proud to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Shaler Area Titans Softball Team on an incredible victory last evening in the PIAA Class 5A Semifinals. 🥎

In an unforgettable 11-inning battle, our Titans defeated Thomas Jefferson 5-3 to advance to the PIAA Class 5A Championship Game. The determination, resilience, and teamwork displayed throughout the game were truly extraordinary and reflective of the pride, perseverance, and spirit that define our school community. Competing at the highest level for more than three hours, our student-athletes never gave up and demonstrated the character, discipline, and commitment that make Shaler Area so special.
