Station 810 received delicious homemade cupcakes courtesy of Jan Simon. We appreciate the gesture, as they were thoroughly enjoyed by the crews.

Earlier this week, Robinson EMS, Covestro Emergency Response Team (Station 326), and AHN Allegheny General Hospital participated in a simulated hazardous material spill / mass casualty incident exercise at the Covestro campus in Robinson Township.

This drill strengthened our working relationship with the Covestro Emergency Response Team and helped identify potential areas of improvement in the event of an actual incident. Crews reviewed the treatment of patients with cyanide compound poisoning, administration of hydroxocobalamin antidote kits, EMTrack patient tracking operations, and observation of hospital MCI and Mass Decontamination operations.

We'd like to thank Covestro for involving us in this exercise ensuring we are prepared to respond to these low-occurrence high-acuity incidents.

EMS Week rewind. We extend our gratitude to Michael Henry and eServices Technology for providing treats and friend and former awesome team member Eric Rousell for providing lunch. Special thanks to our medical director, Dr. Nawrocki, for consistently guiding us down the right path, and to our command facility AGH, as well as all of the AHN & UPMC facilities and Weirton Medical Center too for hosting our crews last week. We appreciate all your contributions to our extraordinary team.

Today on this Memorial Day, we pause to remember the men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms.

As EMS Week 2026 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize our dedicated EMTs, AEMTs, Paramedics, and PHRNs for their committed service to the Township of Robinson, Borough of Rosslyn Farms, and Borough of Thornburg. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, these men and women answer the call for duty, ensuring that we are all improving outcomes, together.

During this National Police Week we proudly recognize and thank our law enforcement partners for their unwavering service to our communities.

We give special praise to the officers we work with daily including the Robinson Township Police Department, Crafton Borough Police Department (Thornburg Borough), and the Scott Police Allegheny County Pa. (Rosslyn Farms Borough).

We have the privilege of working side by side with some of the finest police officers out there. Your dedicated and selfless service does not go unnoticed.

Robinson EMS, along with several regional EMS partners, assisted the Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS in providing medical coverage for the 2026 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon today. Congratulations to all participants!
