A National Landmark in Pittsburgh's Historic Hill District The Hill CDC (owner) remains committed to the building's restoration.
In December 2010, The New Granada was designated a National Landmark on the Registry of Historic Places by the US Department of Interior.

Hill CDC presents Hip-Hop on L.O.C.K. for Hill District Youths | My New Granada This September, the Hill CDC is bringing the Hip-Hop on L.O.C.K. program to Hill District youths. The program is searching for 8-10 students, grades 8-12, to participate in the program and is currently accepting applications.
