Woodland Hills EMS provides emergency medical service to the residents of Braddock Hills, Chalfant, Churchill, Forest Hills and Wilkins.
Woodland Hills EMS(WHEMS) is a independent 501(c)(3) based in Forest Hills, Pennsylvania. Utilizing two ALS medic units they provide emergency medical service to the communities of Braddock Hills, Chalfant, Churchill, Forest Hills and Wilkins. WHEMS was created when Rescue 8 and Rescue 1 merged in 2001. WHEMS only provides emergency service dispatched through Allegheny County 911 and does not offer any non-emergency transport.

Station 340 had a great time at the Wilkins Township Egg Hunt today! 🐣🚑 We even brought along our favorite four-legged crew member, Joules, who definitely stole the show. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fun day!

WHEMS continues its improvements to our station. Over the last 2 years through the help of Senator Jay Costa and local contractors we have added newer efficient windows, new roof, high efficiency HVAC, and a station access security system to help keep our employees safe. One final project was resurfacing our garage. Keystone Concrete Coatings did an awesome job of repairing the old concrete surface, sealing, and finishing the garage floor. We look forward to it looking like this for years to come.

Just a reminder that Braddock Hills, Chalfant, Churchill, Forest Hills, and Wilkins will all be having Trick or Treat on Friday October 31st from 6-8 pm.

🎃👻 Our EMS crews had a spooktacular time at this year’s Halloween Trunk or Treat! From candy to costumes, we loved connecting with our community. And of course, our station pup Joules stole the show in her adorable costume! 🐾🧡
