This morning, we had the pleasure of giving the winners of the Keystone Oaks School District spring flower sale a ride to Aiken Elementary School in one of our trucks!

The two students were recognized as the top sellers in the PFO’s flower sale fundraiser and were picked up at their homes before being escorted to school in style. They even got the chance to use the lights and sirens as they arrived to cheers from their classmates!

Congratulations to both of you, and keep up the great work!

Just after 7:30 AM this morning, crews responded to a reported garbage truck fire on Warriors Road.

Upon arrival, crews found that the truck’s load was smoldering. The driver was able to safely dump the load before it spread to the vehicle. Firefighters quickly extinguished the smoldering debris and controlled the scene.

The Department of Public Works has been notified and will assist with cleanup.

This afternoon our crews made a quick pit stop to check out a familiar (and very large) visitor here in Green Tree… the Giant Rubber Duck has returned!

Always a fun sight to see and a great chance for our members to take a quick break and enjoy one of the more unique attractions to come through the area.

If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to stop by and snap a picture before it floats away!

As prom season approaches, our crews recently joined the Dormont Fire Department & Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department in the Keystone Oaks School District mock crash.

Juniors and seniors witnessed a realistic prom night crash scenario designed to highlight the serious consequences of drinking and driving. The goal is to remind students to make responsible choices on what should be one of the most memorable nights of their high school experience.

With warmer weather and busy school events ahead, we can’t stress enough the importance of staying sober, alert, and distraction-free behind the wheel.

Make smart choices. Stay safe

🚨 New Paint Scheme Reveal 🚨

Our members are proud to officially unveil a bold new look for our fleet!

While we’ve always had the green down pat, we realized we were missing something important… the “tree.” 🌳

So, we’re excited to introduce a more natural finish — featuring rich wood grain paneling and a luxurious mahogany interior. This updated design truly brings our name to life and adds a touch of classic style to the streets of Green Tree.

But we didn’t stop there…

To complete the experience, we’ll be adding blankets and a popcorn maker — because nothing says teamwork like those nostalgic nights at the drive-in in mom’s station wagon. 🍿

We hope you love the new look as much as we do!
