As rain showers become more frequent and snowmelt begins to flow, the ground often can’t absorb water quickly enough, sending excess runoff into streets, streams, and storm drains. This seasonal surge makes it especially important to keep drains clear, manage yard debris responsibly, and use green spaces to help soak up water. A little attention in spring goes a long way toward protecting local waterways and reducing flooding throughout the community.
