Today, we pause to honor and remember the lives lost in the ongoing fight for transgender rights and safety. Their stories remind us how important it is for every young person and every member of our community to be seen, valued, and protected.

At CASA of Allegheny County, we believe that a strong community is one where every individual can live authentically and without fear. As we reflect on Trans Day of Remembrance, we reaffirm our commitment to building a community where acceptance, dignity, and respect are the standard.

Let us carry forward the memories of those we have lost by continuing to stand against violence and discrimination, and by uplifting young people with compassion, understanding, and hope.
