REMINDER! We will host a Baldwin-Whitehall School District Purple Pantry collection drive to replenish inventory ahead of the 2026-27 academic year. We are in need of the following items:
- Snack items (fruit snacks, bars, fruit strips, applesauce squeezers, cookies, pretzels, crackers)
- Feminine products (pads preferred )
- Laundry detergent pods
- Paper Towels / Toilet paper
- Full, unused shampoo / conditioner / body wash
- Pasta / Pasta sauce (cans or plastic jars. No glass)
- Rice / Ready rice (or pasta) packets
- Black beans
- Dish soap

All donors will receive a prize. Thank you for your support and see you Saturday!

What a blast!

With the help of emergency and safety personnel from multiple agencies, BWEF and Whitehall Borough Recreation hosted a Summer Safety Education section during the annual Baldwin-Whitehall School District We Are Neighbors event at Baldwin High School. Students were given a scavenger hunt worksheet with questions for each organization related to safety at home, in the community, at pools, and how to seek help from emergency officials if needed. Anyone who submitted a completed worksheet was eligible for a $20 Amazon gift card...

.. and nearly 100 students submitted a completed worksheet! Congratulations to the following students who were randomly selected for a gift card:

What a delicious night! The third annual Tastebuds Jr. Culinary Tasting Event raised ~$4,500 for Best Buddies Pittsburgh and for the Best Buddies clubs at Baldwin High School and J. E. Harrison Middle School! That's a 33% increase from last year!

The sold out crowd of 150 guests packed the R. A. Lutz Elementary School cafeteria for an evening of food and fun. It was a night like no other in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District and we'd like to thank everyone who helped make it special.
