Congrats also to our team members who received individual awards including Parker Felterman’s witness award, Grace Joseph’s attorney award, Ryan Driscoll’s attorney award, and Brett Gold’s attorney award and a special shout out to Sufiyan Gajra’s two outstanding witness awards!!

Congratulations to Team Zebra for getting 3rd place at Rutgers’ Scarlet Knight Invitational and an honorable mention at The Geneseo Joust and Team Rhino for coming in 2nd place at The Geneseo Joust

Also congrats to all of our members who got individual awards this fall including Mia Carrarini’s outstanding witness award, Molly Niehaus’s outstanding attorney award, Brett Gold’s honorable mention attorney award, and a huge shoutout to Abhay Liginlal who received 3 outstanding witness awards!!

Last weekend Carnegie Mellon Mock Trial wrapped up our last tournament of the fall semester at the Geneseo Joust. We had a great time competing and can’t wait for the Spring semester!! ⚖️

It’s great to be back! Carnegie Mellon Mock Trial had an amazing time at MSU’s Red Cedar Classic this weekend! So excited for the rest of the season!!! 🔥🔥🔥

If you’re interested in getting to know some amazing people and hearing a little about what we do throughout the year make sure to come to one of our events!

⚖️ Friday, August 27th from 5-6pm we’ll be in McConomy Auditorium in Cohon University Center
⚖️ Sunday, August 29th from 4-5pm we’ll be in McKenna Peter Wright in Cohon University Center

There will even be (to go) snacks! (we must stay masked during our event)

⚖️ Graduation year: 2024
⚖️ Major: Biological Sciences, Psychology
⚖️ What is your favorite thing about mock trial?: One of my favorite things about mock trial would have to be coming up with fun responses on a cross exam
⚖️ Favorite tv show?: Greys anatomy
⚖️ Favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh?: The melting pot!!!

⚖️ Major: International Relations and Politics
⚖️ What is your favorite thing about mock trial?: Seeing yourself grow.
⚖️ If you were an animal, what would you be?: A possum, because I’m partially nocturnal and have never died from rabies
⚖️ Who is the most famous person you've ever met?: No one especially famous, but my high school history teacher had his own Wikipedia page.

⚖️ Role: Social and Recruitment Chair
⚖️ What is your favorite thing about mock trial?: The community. I've met some really amazing people through doing mock trial that I never would have met otherwise.
⚖️ Favorite tv show?: The Good Place - I've laughed. I've cried. I've lost track of how many times I've seen it - highly recommend

⚖️ What is your favorite thing about mock trial?: Definitely objections. The improvised battles which come with objections are the best.
⚖️ What is a place you've never been to but want to visit: Costa Rica because it’s the one place my sister’s been but I haven’t.
