Another preservation moving forward....

On behalf of the Uptown neighborhood and Uptown Partners of Pittsburgh, we would like to thank all who contributed to achieving the historic designation of the Tito-Mecca-Zizza site.

We offer special thanks to Dr. David Rotenstein, Melissa McSwigan, Senator Wayne Fontana, Rep. Emily Kinkead, Allegheny County Councilor Liv Bennett, Preservation Pittsburgh, Young Preservationists Association, The Tito-Mecca-Zizza families, every entity that submitted letters of support, and to the City Councilmembers who voted in favor of this designation.

It is a momentous step forward in sustaining the community vision and preserving its unique history, character, and identity as we develop. Thank you.

Dr. Brittany McDonald, Executive Director
Uptown Partners of Pittsburgh
