The day your child is born is not "just another day" in your life. It's a day you will cherish and never forget. It's a day you will never forget.

Having a doula present only enhances your birthing experience. I am in the process of certification through DONA as a professional labor and birth Doula. My role as a doula is to be the support for the mother, partner, and all involved in the birthing process. My goal is to let people know there ARE options. I educate moms on prenatal care, labor and delivery and postpartum care. I answer their questions and make sure their needs are expressed to the hospital staff in a respectful manner.
