Northside Coalition for Fair Housing is a resident-focused Community Development Organization.

The Northside Coaliton for Fair Housing is founded on the premise that families and individuals have a responsibility to create for themselves living environments that are safe, livable, beautiful and sustainable, with indifference to a resident's income, race or physical abilities.

The 2025-26 Snow Angel Program is NOW OPEN and accepting applications!

The City’s Snow Angels Program pairs older residents and people with disabilities with nearby neighbors to assist with snow removal on their sidewalks and walkways.

Along with fostering stronger community relationships and relieving some of the stress that comes from a heavy snowfall or freeze, Snow Angels make our sidewalks safer for everyone.

Want to help “break the ice” for a fellow neighbor in need?

We need additional volunteers to help as many residents as possible. Sign-ups are OPEN NOW.

Visit: https://engage.pittsburghpa.gov/snow-angels to become a Snow Angel today!

Attention Black & Women Owned Businesses

There is currently a disparity study being conducted by the City of Pittsburgh. This study will determine whether M/WBE programs continue to exist. Disparity studies justify the need for this program. They provide the legal basis for the program to exist. We need a robust response from the business community or face the elimination of the program.

If you have not completed a survey or spoke with one of the consultants, please do so, without your participation there is a strong possibility that the program will be eliminated. You do not have to be certified to participate. The survey is to determine your experience as a disadvantaged business in the City of Pittsburgh.
