As many celebrate Songkran by washing away bad luck, it reminds us of humanity’s deep desire for renewal. Yet, as Christians, we have something even greater: Jesus’ sacrifice didn’t just cleanse us for a season—it washed away our sins for eternity.
While we respect traditions, we celebrate the everlasting renewal found in Christ. Let’s share His love and the hope of eternal cleansing!

In the remote regions of northern Myanmar, a tribe known as the Pu Laung is turning away from idols and surrendering their hearts to the living God.
Brother Yang, a full-time supported partner of Frontier Harvest Ministries for the past 8 years, has faithfully served in this part of the world for most of his life. Though of Chinese descent, he is from the nation of Myanmar and has devoted himself to preaching the Gospel, bringing aid to the poor, and shepherding the people the Lord places in his path.
Encounters with people struggling under curses, fear, and spiritual bo***ge are a normal part of his ministry. In fact, he is so well known in his region as “the preacher man” that many superstitious Chinese, Pu Laung, Jin Po, and several other people groups regularly come to him for prayer. They know the God he serves is the one true and living God—and Brother Yang is never afraid to make that known.
The pictures below capture a Pu Laung family beginning their new life the right way—starting fresh in Christ. Out with idols and false gods, and in with the Holy Spirit and His refreshing liberty.
Please pray for the Pu Laung people group and continue lifting up the nation of Myanmar. 🙏

These are the everyday sights of life in a country where less than 1% of the population is Christian.
That means 9 out of 10 villages have no church and little to no access to the Gospel. Nearly every road leading out of the major cities takes you into unreached territory—places where the name of Jesus is still scarcely known and the need for the Gospel is desperate.
Much has already been done, but much more must still be initiated. The harvest remains vast, and the call to go has never been more urgent.

For those keeping up with the work in Myanmar 🇲🇲
From the very beginning, the goal was simple: stand behind Brother Aik and help raise up the next generation of Palaung youth for the Gospel.
Brother Aik has been a long-trusted partner in this work, and at the beginning of 2025, we committed to stand with him in building a strong core team around his ministry. After a full year of faithful labor, two three-month semesters in the Word, living life on mission alongside Brother Aik, and serving their community, a small but mighty team of young men and women is rising up.
Our next endeavor is to send 3 brothers into a new village just 45 minutes away to begin a new gathering and shepherd the believers in that area—where there are currently no long-term workers. This will help strengthen the Body of Christ while challenging the next generation to go and make disciples, teaching them to walk in the ways of the Lord and stand firmly on His Word.
A smaller home will be rented for the team to have a place to live, gather, and work from. Brother Aik will remain in close contact and within motorcycle distance so he can continue to guide, strengthen, and labor alongside them.
For the next year, the mission is clear:
Serve the families in the surrounding villages.
Develop a gathering of believers.
Pray for the sick.
Cast out demons.
Preach the Word.
As the Holy Spirit leads, we will move with His flow.
I’m looking forward to watching this continue to develop.
This is a full-time commitment, and we are committed to standing with our brothers as they are sent to go.
Stand with us.
