Founded in 1958, the Allegheny City Society (ACS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to documenting and preserving the history of the former city of Allegheny, now known as Pittsburgh’s North Side. ACS presents public programs, lectures, and tours on topics from Allegheny’s history and maintains a reference collection.
