Providing counseling and education to community members in need and helping to bridge gaps in family communication

We're still reflecting on what an incredible evening we shared at the annual Celebration of Hope Gala.

More than 160 friends, supporters, and partners gathered to celebrate hope and the power of community. Together, you helped raise more than $42,000 from individual donations alone–enough to provide a full course of counseling treatment for 84 under-resourced families in our community!

We were so honored to welcome Charlie and Tasha Batch as keynote speakers. Charlie spoke candidly about navigating life's unexpected transitions and finding purpose beyond professional success. He shared, "I'm married to someone who has a mental health background, and she accelerated that process for me to allow me the opportunity to say, 'you have a purpose, and that purpose is waking up for these little humans [at the Best of the Batch Foundation] every day."

Tasha's closing words continue to resonate, too: "Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others. Have a soft weekend. "Soft" does not make you weak. Soft makes you be a better person for others and for yourself."

To everyone who supported this event from near and far, thank you again. Your generosity will create a ripple effect of healing and stability for neighbors throughout our community, and we couldn't be more grateful. 💛

Be sure to check out the rest of the photos from a truly wonderful night in our most recent Facebook album!

We cannot thank Larry Richert enough for being such a valued part of Anchorpoint’s Celebration of Hope Gala — not only as an incredible emcee, but also as someone who consistently supports and uplifts the Pittsburgh community.

We’re grateful for his ongoing commitment to shining a light on people and organizations doing meaningful work.

It was wonderful to see Charlie and Tasha Batch featured in his interview this morning after such a meaningful evening together last night!

Community has the power to change lives, and last night was a beautiful reminder of that.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in Anchorpoint’s Celebration of Hope Gala this year, whether you attended, sponsored, donated, volunteered, bid in the auction, or supported the event in any way. Your generosity, encouragement, and belief in the importance of mental health care make this work possible.

And a very special thank you to our honorees, Charlie and Tasha Batch. They are truly wonderful people whose impact reaches far beyond what many people see, and we were honored to celebrate them and the incredible work they do in our community.

More photos and event highlights are coming next week, but we wanted to share our gratitude while we’re still reflecting on such a special night 💛

Our team had a wonderful time attending the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber's Annual Awards Gala last night!

We're incredibly honored that Anchorpoint was nominated for the Nonprofit Excellence Award this year. We were also so proud to celebrate our very own board member Gabby Morella who was nominated for the Women's Leadership Excellence Award.

Feeling grateful to be a part of this community filled with passionate leaders and organizations working to make a meaningful difference every day 💛
