Elevating the effectiveness and impact of the leaders of our city

10/19/2026

Last week, leaders from across Pittsburgh sat down at the same table and something shifted.

Session 1 of the Fall 2026 Leaders Collaborative kicked off at North Way Sewickley. Senior leaders and emerging leaders, from business, church, and nonprofit, all learning together, praying together, and challenging each other to lead at a higher level.

Two more sessions to go. If you know someone who should be in the Spring cohort, start that conversation now.

We're excited to see how God moves in these leaders.

When was the last time you invested in you?

In The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey calls the 7th habit, "sharpening the saw," the one that surrounds and protects the other six. It's about self-renewal: investing in your own leadership.

That's what PLF's Leadership Collaborative Gatherings are for. Together we work on self-awareness, building culture, elevating the leaders around you, and leading through change.

Gatherings start Wednesday, October 14, and we can't wait to see you and the cohort.

We say Amen. Then we get to work.

Every November, volunteers across Greater Pittsburgh come together to pack meals for families facing food insecurity. It's one of the most tangible ways our city lives out its faith: hands on a table, packing food side by side, proving that prayer and purpose go together.

In 2026, Amen to Action is expanding to 11 packing sites across the Greater Pittsburgh area throughout November.

Churches, colleges, and community centers are opening their doors. Hundreds of volunteers will show up. And together, we'll pack meals that go directly to local food banks and families who need them.

This isn't just an event. It's a movement.

As the seasons change, we're reminded that God is always doing something new.

This fall, will you join us in praying over Pittsburgh? Whether it's walking with us on Tuesday mornings or pausing at your desk for 60 seconds, prayer is the foundation of everything we do at PLF.

Join our weekly prayer walks: Every Tuesday at 6 AM by the Roberto Clemente Statue at PNC Park.

No agenda. No program. Just people who love this city, asking God to move.

Be part of God's story in Pittsburgh this fall.

Someone believed in you before you believed in yourself.

Think about the leader who pulled you aside, gave you a shot, or told you the truth when no one else would. That person shaped who you are today.

This fall, the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation is bringing senior and emerging leaders together around the same table for the Fall Leaders Collaborative. It's real conversations, real assessments, and real growth, facilitated by leaders like Dave D'Angelo and Doug Smith.

📅 Fall 2026 Dates: Oct 14 | Nov 11 | Dec 9
📍 North Way Sewickley
⏰ 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM (lunch included)

ELC participants receive full scholarships thanks to generous PLF donors. A senior leader nomination is required.

The last day to register is October 1st.
