The QVCOG would like to thank Pennsylvania Resources Council and all volunteers who made the Hard to Recycle Event this past Saturday a reality. This was our first HTR event in Bellevue Borough and nearly 400 participants were able to recycle their televisions, tires, and more! Because of this event, approximately 40,000 pounds of materials were responsibly diverted from our region's landfills.

The Quaker Valley Council of Governments is proud to partner with Pennsylvania Resources Council again to bring a Hard to Recycle event back to our region. Hard to Recycle events provide responsible and convenient disposal for items that are not eligible for curbside recycling. At these events, individuals have been able to recycle items such as e-waste, cell phones, polystyrene, Freon-containing appliances, tires and more. These events require all participants to register in advance. Further details including fees and registration information can be found in the attached flyer.

Thank you to everyone who joined the QVCOG’s Intergovernmental Reception last evening at the Edgeworth Club! The presence of so many elected officials, municipal staff, community partners, and neighbors made the evening a true celebration of regional collaboration and good government.

A special shout-out to our generous sponsors for making this event possible. We’re also grateful to the Edgeworth Club team for their outstanding hospitality. The QVCOG looks forward to building on the connections and ideas sparked last night into 2026 and beyond.
