UPDATE:
Tuesday, April 28: The Ft. Duquesne Pedestrian Bridge is open with stairs down to the riverwalks (Three Rivers Heritage Trail and the GAP) and includes Fountain Plaza access. Commuters can go around the point from Northside to the city. Both the Great Lawn and the City Side Lawn and the public bathroom are closed.
Beginning Wednesday, April 29: A commuter path will be in place to allow access from the Ft. Duquesne Pedestrian Bridge through the park to the main entrance at Commonwealth and Liberty Avenues. The riverwalks and fountain plaza will remain open, and the public bathroom will still be closed.
We anticipate the lawns and public bathroom reopening, with temporary modified access at times, by this weekend.
