Our Lady of Mount Carmel Youth Ministry

After a long weekend, Jesus Christ Superstar is officially a wrap. Across four shows, we welcomed around 1,500 people through the doors. Full houses every night—standing room only—it was something really special to be a part of.
From our Cabaret Dinner all the way through closing on Sunday, every performance had its own energy and felt unique. Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, donated, and filled the room with so much love. The energy and love from the audience meant everything to this cast and crew.
We couldn’t be more proud of these kids. What you see on stage comes from about four months of hard work, long rehearsals, and a lot of dedication—and this weekend made it all more than worth it.
And a special thank you to our 10 seniors. Your leadership, commitment, and heart helped shape this production into what it became. You’ve left your mark on this program in a big way, and you’ll be missed more than you know. You are always welcome back, and we especially can’t wait to see you at Alumni Night next year.

Before they were saying “cast take 10”, running rehearsals, and keeping the whole show together, they were just little humans with big dreams. Now, these directors are the ones shaping the stories we love-and now we’re giving them the love they deserve.

Meet Morgan, a senior at North Hills High School! Morgan performs as the Apostle Thomas, a l***r, and serving as our Dance Captain. Morgan’s positive attitude and hard work make her an important part of the cast both on and off stage.
Her favorite song in the show is “The Last Supper,” and she’s especially excited for Tech Week when everything finally comes together with lights, costumes, and the full production. Morgan’s enthusiasm, and leadership help bring this show to life.

Meet John, a senior at Central Catholic High School who is stepping into the role of Jesus! John’s powerful stage presence, dedication, and passion for the show allows him to bring this role to life. John is especially looking forward to performing for the electric audiences and sharing this incredible production with everyone.

Meet Lucy, a senior at Oakland Catholic High School! She takes on the role of James the Apostle in Jesus Christ Superstar. Her constant smile light up every rehearsal and make being around her an absolute joy. Lucy is especially excited for Tech Week, when everything finally comes together on stage. Her favorite song in the show is “Pilate and Christ,” and she can’t wait to see the powerful moment come to life during the performances. Lucy brings kindness, positivity, and dedication to the cast each day, and her energy on and off stage makes her such a special part of this production.

Meet Kate, a senior at Pine-Richland High School who is taking on the role of Judas! Kate brings incredible energy and passion to every performance. Her powerful stage presence and dedication help bring this iconic role to life in a truly unforgettable way.
Her favorite song from the show is “The Last Supper” one of the most dramatic moments of the musical where tensions rise and the story takes off in Act 2.
