Today is a reminder that the hot summer months are quickly approaching and we could use your help to keep your Berkeley Hills volunteers hydrated this summer! If you are able, next time you're at the store, grab an extra case of water to donate to your local fire department! Just one incident in the summer heat can require several cases of water to keep our responders hydrated (some details on guidance for proper hydration are at the link below if you're interested in learning more). Feel free to stop by and ring the doorbell at the station to drop off any time!

Engine 247 stretched on and extinguished an auto fire on McKnight Road yesterday.

7 runs, 1 box, West Views Memorial Day parade, a cookout, corn hole, the daily firehouse maintenance, and a heavy water supply drill to cool down, wrapped up with dinner. Thanks to all of our volunteers for ensuring that calls were answered and made sure to have fun doing it!
