The Branch recently celebrated the opening of another Community Living Arrangement! The Branch now operates four homes in partnership with Verland, providing residents with 24/7 support.

To welcome and celebrate Lilmont House, other Branch residents gathered on Tuesday, June 16, for an ice cream party. Everyone enjoyed spending time together and creating their own ice cream bowls with plenty of delicious toppings.

Happy Juneteenth from The Branch! ❤️💛💚

Juneteenth is an important holiday that celebrates the emancipation of enslaved people in America. It is a time to honor generations of perseverance and recognize the unwavering commitment of those who fought for freedom and equal rights for African Americans.

As we reflect on this day of freedom and remembrance, we are reminded of the Jewish value of tzedek (justice) and the importance of pursuing a world where every person is treated with dignity and respect.

Join us in celebrating this meaningful holiday and honoring the voices that helped shape a more just, inclusive, and hopeful future for all!

Last month, The Branch was honored to attend ACTION Housing’s Annual Meeting as they celebrated Nearly 70 Years of action since 1957.

The event highlighted ACTION Housing’s impact and growth over the past year and featured an informative panel discussion on how state and local partnerships can advance housing production, preserve affordability and expand supportive housing solutions.

We had a great time connecting with fellow community partners and are grateful to work alongside organizations like ACTION Housing to help create stronger, more inclusive communities for all.

Sunny days in Pittsburgh are always a great treat, especially when they're spent outdoors with friends!

On Sunday, May 31, members of the Sally and Howard Levin Clubhouse joined The Friendship Circle of Pittsburgh, JCC Pittsburgh, Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, and Ariel Matz Consulting for a relaxing nature walk at Frick Park Environmental Center. Everyone had a great time enjoying the Sensory Nature Trail, connecting with new and familiar faces, and exploring birding activities led by naturalist educators.

Thank you to the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and Frick Park Environmental Center for helping create an inclusive, welcoming space where people of all abilities can connect with nature and one another.
