All Allegheny County administrative offices, including County Council, the Office of the County Executive, and the Courts will be closed to the public on Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of the Juneteenth National Freedom Day holiday.

The county’s parks will be open, including its golf courses, spray parks, and pools, and all will be operating on a normal schedule all week, weather permitting.

Council Member Bethany Hallam celebrated the Homeless Children’s Education Fund (HCEF) this past weekend. The Homeless Children’s Education Fund is a Pittsburgh-based non-profit that supports the education of children experiencing homelessness in Southwestern Pennsylvania through programs like mobile classrooms, tutoring, and career development, while also advocating for systemic change to address youth homelessness.
