The South Side Community Council is a resident-based organization that gives a voice to the residents of the South Side Flats. Throughout Street Fest, the SSCC will serve as a liaison between residents and event organizers, helping residents obtain event-related information and ensuring that community concerns and feedback are communicated appropriately.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore the beautiful and historic St. Adalbert Church, a treasured landmark built by Pittsburgh’s Polish immigrant community in 1889–1890. Thank you to Laszlo for sharing the church’s rich history and welcoming guests throughout the day.

We’re grateful to everyone who volunteered, toured, and helped celebrate the homes, gardens, and history that make South Side so special. ❤️
