Allegheny County Library Association 2025 Impact Report Spotlight ๐โจ
Todayโs feature highlights:
๐น Mobile Library Services: Did you know that ACLA Mobile Services traveled more than 14,000 miles to 1,065 visits in 2025? โ๏ธ
๐น Student Library Cards: To remove barriers, ACLA has provided more than 50,000 students in 17 school districts across Allegheny County with new library cards since 2021.
๐น Partnerships: ACLA collaborated with multiple partners in 2025 to create programs, provide professional development and to share information sharing.
๐น Funding: ACLA relies on various contributions to implement new programming and to maintain and update the vital resources used by Allegheny County residents of all ages.
๐น Leadership: The volunteers who step forward to serve on the ACLA Board of Directors help to make all of this possible with their dedicated leadership.

๐ซ๐๐๐ Partner Share Time! Today's Partner Share is the Allegheny Intermediate Unit ! The Allegheny Intermediate Unit, also known as the AIU, is a regional public education agency that provides specialized services to Allegheny County's suburban school districts as well as non-public, charter, and vocational-technical schools. ACLA and the AIU collaborate to co-host the annual Childrenโs Choice Awards, which celebrates literacy and concludes with a culminating event! This yearโs winner was Library Girl.
