Last month, a vintage Syracuse University library card was found in our parking lot.
What started as a simple lost-and-found item turned into a collaborative search involving staff at Pittsford Community Library and Syracuse University Libraries. After some detective work, we were able to connect with the card owner's family and arrange for this small piece of family history to make its way home.
The family was incredibly grateful that so many people took the time to help return what had become an unexpected piece of family history. The best part? No one quite knows how the card ended up here, since no one in the family lives local anymore. The mystery remains unsolved! ๐ต๏ธโโ๏ธ
