Three years ago, around this time, Angels for Action experienced one of the biggest disruptions to our work in Plainfield.

Just as our community was beginning to reopen after COVID, a large van crashed into our building. Thankfully, no one was hurt — something we will always be grateful for. But the damage created a much longer and more complicated road back than we ever expected.

As we worked through repairs, inspections, permits, and the many challenges that followed, reopening the space became increasingly difficult. After nearly a year, we made the decision to begin looking for a new home.

For nearly 13 years, we were grateful to have PNC as a community partner and to work together in support of the Plainfield community. We are thankful for that partnership and for everything we were able to accomplish together.

After about a year of searching, we’re now just around the corner in our new home at The Incubator. It has taken time, but we’re slowly rebuilding, reorganizing, and getting our community programs moving again.

To all of our volunteers, supporters, partners, donors, and community members who stood by us through this difficult period — thank you. Your patience, encouragement, and continued support have meant so much as we work to get back on our feet.

We’re looking forward to what comes next and to continuing to build caring and connected communities in Plainfield. ❤️

We are honored to have donated PSEG energy-saving kits—including outlet strips, water-saving shower heads, and other supplies—to Yvonne Zirrith of VFW Monroe Post 262.

The donations will support veterans at their post, as well as other VFW posts throughout the county. We estimate these supplies will help approximately 48 individuals and families.

A special thank you to our community partner, El Centro Hispanoamericano , who originally provided these donations and helped make this community impact possible! 🤝💙

🎉🎉 We updated our website! 🎉🎉

angelsactioninc.org

Thank you to everyone, our community partners and supporters, for your patience over the years! We have always been working hard behind the scenes but being a small nonprofit, we didn't have time to work on our digital presence.

This website will have more information on our programs and how we can work together. Hopefully it' will be able to answer most questions. We will still be updating throughout the year but wanted to give a preview. Thank you for supporting our mission.

🌟 Tomorrow, Aug 29th - Saturday around 12:30 🌟

We will be having a small "Grocery Distribution Event" at our office at 320 Park Ave (The Incubator) for low income families and vulnerable individuals only. We have limited donations, so we will only be running till we run out. If you can bring a tote bag for items, we would appreciate it as we have a limited set of bags.

Thank you to Arley Ramirez Landscape Contractor for the food donations and your support in the community!
