We are looking for teen or adult volunteers to help out after school on Monday, October 26 from 3:45 - 4:45. Please let us know at the library if you can help. Thank you!

Just a friendly reminder: children are expected to understand and respect the rules of the library when at programs. Please share with your children the following: 1. Follow library rules
2. Respect library staff
3. Stay in designated areas
4. Noise levels should not be disruptive
5. Respect all areas of the library, including the bathroom.
Behavior becomes unacceptable when it impinges on the rights of others or causes extra problems for the library staff. Children who cannot follow the rules, may be asked to leave for a short time or asked not to come to the programs. We want everyone to enjoy their time at library programs. Help us make our time together fun!
Signed: Donna, Kayle, Tammie, and Kris

Parents and guardians: If you are able, could you send a large box of snacks to keep our hungry bellies content. It seems when we get to the library at 3:45, we are hungry. After all, lunch was almost 4 hours ago! We will share with our library mates and Mz. Tammie will store extras in the kitchen.
Sincerely, Kindergarten/1st graders on Monday
2nd graders on Wednesday

👻 Don’t get spooked by Medicare!

Join Peggy for a free Medicare 101 presentation on Wednesday, October 14, at 7:00 p.m. at the Plainview Public Library.

We’ll cover when and how to enroll, make sense of Medicare Parts A, B, C and D, and have plenty of time for your questions.

It’s another year of disruption in the Medicare world. Whether you’re turning 65 or already have coverage, I’ll help shed some light on the changes coming for 2027 and what to look for as you review your options.
