I was saddened to learn of the passing of Beverly "Bev" Hollingworth, who died peacefully on October 2 at age 90.
Bev was a true trailblazer in New Hampshire public service, serving in the NH House, as Senate President, and on the Executive Council for two terms. Her work on the state's living will law, public kindergarten, and MLK Jr. Day made a lasting difference for Granite Staters, and her dedication to the Seacoast set an example for all.
My thoughts and prayers are with her husband Bill, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson, and all who loved her.
